Private Bradley Manning, horrified at the war crimes unfolding around him, reported them to higher authorities in his chain of command. When they told him to keep quiet about it he published the details of the crimes to the public. He is facing the death sentence. The loss of liberty at home is to be charged to the provisions against danger, real or imagined, from abroad.” The text is written in the Diwani Jali script. Every word in the poem is written exactly once in the body of the statue, and once on her pedestal.
